The Baby Show......don't forget your wheelie trolly!

'MAMAMI' has taken a big step and decided to venture into the world of Exhibitions and by Exhibitions I mean no other than The Baby Show - Earls Court. 

It has been very stressful deciding whether this is the right move for mamami but after chats with friends I've decided to bite the bullet and go for it. 

For those of you who have exhibited in the past you will know the stress of trying to work your way through your very first  'show and tell'. For those of you who haven't, I won't bore you with the details but it's a minefield for novices like myself.

So whether you are a 'new' first time bump planning for the birth of your new baby, spoiling your new arrival or just in need of more baby gear there are many reasons you should go to a Baby Show, this is mamami's top 10 list of reasons why you should come along...

You will;

1. find 1000's (literally) of products and over 300 brands to choose from!
2. get to pick up some amazing bargains, majority of stands will have a 'show discount' and this in itself could save you a lot of money.
3. get to see, try and touch products first hand. Pushchairs, high chairs, nursery furniture, baby bags, creams, nappies, the list goes on and on. There will be things you know you need and things you hadn't even considered.
4. get to chat to experts and get invaluable advice first hand. They will help you decipher which products work for you and meet your needs.
5. get to pick up freebies, samples and brochures from just about all stands (hence why I say take a wheelie trolly - I'm not joking!).
6. get to enter lots and lots of competitions. It could be your lucky day!
7. get to see small boutique brands like 'mamami' first hand. In most cases you'll meet the founders of the business and get to ask any questions you have about their product to them directly.
8. meet lots of other 'bumps' and parents.
9. hear lots from leading parenting experts on The Baby Show Stage with Made for Mums offering invaluable advice on breastfeeding, sleep, weaning, child development and first aid.
10. get to see fashion shows each day featuring the latest maternity wear, baby wear and stylish accessories and entertainment and play areas for your little ones.

So if you are planning to go, wear sensible shoes 
(I will have a flat pair as back-up), take some one, preferably with muscles to help carry all the goodies and enjoy.
